DAGE'S BIRTHDAY PRESENT!!!

Hey all again Solacia ... ( maybe not but yeah) I'm here!
Since most of you know... IT'S DAGE'S BIRTHDAY!!!
Since it is his birthday there will be anotehr competition!

Here is what you have to do, create your OWN fan art (you can use anything!) inspired by the one and only Legion!

When is this supposed to be subbmited?
This is to be finished by the end of March the 8th Friday 11:59 EST (Server time). Then the winners will be announced in the following week which might be on tuesday.

The prize for the best art will be a custom made weapon made by Dage! And runners up will get a cape also made by Dage.

Here are the rules for the contest (Taken from the DN's)
The Rules
Entries that DO NOT follow these guidelines will not be considered—so read these rules before posting your submission!

1. Design must be inspired by Dage the Evil and/or the Undead Legion.

2. You may use any form of media for your design. (Pencil, Flash, etc)

3. All artwork must be original. This means no screenshots from the games can be used.

4. Tracing is strictly FORBIDDEN. Absolutely NO TRACING.

5. Only ONE entry per AQW account, and make sure to convert to .jpg format and within the preferred size range of 800x600.

6. Post a VALID link to your submission. Try uploading your picture through http://tinypic.com/ if you need a photo uploader (Facebook links don’t always work!)

7. Include your AQW character name on your submitted picture AND in your post so we know who to award the prizes to!

8. You may NOT EDIT or DELETE your post after you have posted your entry. So make sure it's right before you post it. This isn't a race, you don't need to be the first to post. All submissions WILL be looked at!

9.You will be automatically disqualified if you do not follow all the rules.

10.HAVE FUN!

As some people or everyone have heard Dage's Birthday Shop WILL be releasing NEXT FRIDAY! New and more so deadlier weapons will be brought in; And as said in the Design Notes they'll be adding quests! So look out and save up for this upcoming event as many people have been waiting almost to long to wait!

Pop Culture Contest Update
Post your Entries on Artix.com!
So unbelievably popular! The Artix Entertainment Pop Culture Contest has grown so big so fast that we had to move it to Artix.com! (*whispers* Mostly because of the shear volume of terrible, terrible posts being made on the Facebook app we were using previously). Pit your creative talent and amazing drawing skills against mainstream memes, cultural icons, ideas, jokes, perspectives, images, and media, all in Artix Entertainment style.

Your Quest
Make Artix Entertainment-themed Pop Culture artwork! Draw, paint, or illustrate your favorite Artix characters in popular scenes from pop culture. Take your favorite meme, movie poster, TV character, or whatever and transform it into a hilarious parody Artix style!

Quest Requirements
1. Design must be inspired by a popular Pop Culture reference AND any Artix Entertainment Game (AdventureQuest, MechQuest, DragonFable, AQW, EpicDuel, HeroSmash, OverSoul, BladeHaven, Fat Panda, or Pony vs Pony)

2. You may use any form of media for your design (Pencil, Flash, cake mix, etc)
3. All artwork must be original and use Artix Entertainment characters. You can include other Pop Culture characters too, but the more AE-focused it is, the better your chance at winning!

but take your chances to get the Shattersword Pickaxes!

Been a while but as you may have seen or obviously noticed...
IT'S BEEN RAINING PANCAKES!! 8DDDD
Well anyways, back to the point if you've been to /join yulgar lately
Oishi the Troll (Who I call the oversized smurf <-< *Random*)
But anyways the event is PANCAKE DAY!!! 8DDD
Also known as Ash Wednesday for many other people like catholics.  (Like myself :3)
Most of her items are Member items but only about 2 things
are sold for gold and one for acs.

Well this is all that I've got right now.
I'll update you soon enough when there's a new event.

Hero's Heart Day 2013!

Hello everyone!Today, Thursday, Feb. 14th..Reminds you of anything?
That's true! today is as we all know it, the Valentine's Day! That's the day when couples be happy and foreveralones (Like me <.< >.>) be eating a Vanilla icecream while watching TV! Oh....and with Falls of Tears!

Anyway anyway...let's stick to the main point shall we? Hmm....By the time you're reading this, AQWorlds team has released the 2013's "Hero's Heart Day".
It all started in Love! (/join Love or via a new button in Battleon) If you're familiar with this release from last year or the year before, then you're all ready to open the seasonal rare shops!
BUT...if this is your first time, well my friend, you'll have to finish some quests! there are 8 quests, 4 from Big Daddy (The little short guy wearing hat), those are alittle ones, usually takes 3 minutes to complete, and isn't really hard to guess the objectives!
Second 4 is from Prince Jim! (You won't be able to see him until you finish with Big Daddy), just like the first 4, easy like a piece of cake!

There are 2 seasonal rares that will disappear and come back again in HDD 2014, you unlock the first one when you finish BigDaddy's quests, and the other one after finishing Jim's quests!

There aren't really much more to talk about in this release, or shall i call it..a mini release o.o

Hey all Khrystal talking here now and then or before! (...) As you may have known or heard about, two events will be held on the same day which is today or later today 8th of February (if you know what I'm talking about)! Well back to the reason I'm posting this. On this day AQW will be celebrating The Chinese New Year *Gong Xi Fa Cai!*and Carnaval (aka Cultural Celebrations)!
Chinese New Year:
There will be a new (but old to some people) traditional dragon! And as said in the Design Notes THE RARES IN THIS EVENT might BE COOLEST IN ALL OF HISTORY...(might be true might not be. Depends on your thoughts. :P)
Carnaval:

This is also another new but old release as it is and was but with new changes.
Carnaval will now be kept permanent in the game which will include a storyline and items along with it! It will include the following features.

Lots of Items, both Rare and permanent
Carnaval storyline Brazil Mythology Monsters
Rio de Janeriro-inspired Map
 Day and Nighttime Versions of Map
New NPC's
Carnaval music

New with some news!

Hi all,
As you may see my name is Khrystal. I'll be updating you all on what's new in AQW.
Firstly I would like to introduce myself. :3
I am at times really random and annoying. <-< (By really I really MEAN it. :P)
I can be serious when I'm not high. (This is kind of rare cause I'M always high. x3)
And that's about it.. Oh and I don't really know myself till someone tells me about myself.

Okay now to the new stuff if you haven't known there will be a raffle in March called the
"SHUT UP AND TAKE MY RARES" contest.
You would only need to buy raffle tickets from the 'Battleon Assorted Shop' in of course the
one and only BATTLEON! (.....)

The Alpha Omega is coming!

Hello everyone!
Just giving you some quick news incase you still don't know. There's a new class coming to AQWorlds in Feb. 17th (That's exactly the next Tuesday) and called the "Alpha Omega Class".
Here's a picture of how the class will look like:

The Alpha Omega Class. Feb. 17th

The class will be released as a celebration for EpicDuel's Alpha Omega release! and also comes with an armor-only version, which comes live also this week.

Alina:To celebrate EpicDuel's Alpha Omega release, we are adding the Alpha Omega Class to AQWorlds permanently! Armor version goes live this week!

Theories so far is that this class will most probably be obtainable through some PvP medals! since EpicDuel is a PvP game, so this might be related to it! but nobody still knows, and no official news has been confirmed.
One thing that is confirmed, is that the class will be a non-member, and obtainable by everyone.

UPDATE: As we said above, it's confirmed that the class will be obtainable by PvP medals, or with a shortcut of 1,000 ACs.
Getting it with PvP medals will require you to have membership, while the 1k ACs way can be obtained by a free player.

That's all we know so far, keep checking this page for an updated information about the skills and abilities.

SuperBowl XLVII shop is live!

Hello everyone,
Moments ago before publishing this post, AQWorlds has released the seasonal "SuperBowl" shop in Punt (/join punt).
If you're familiar with the game and been a player for over a year, then you probably know every single detail of this! but if you're not, this this is what's going on:

What's the Superbowl Shop?
It's a celebration shop for the Superbowl XLVII!
Super Bowl XLVII is an American football game between Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2012 season.

When is the shop released?
During the Half-time of the match. and it's already released by the time you're reading this.


Will any of the items go rare?
Yes, the items you see this year will be held as a permanent rare items, but the shop will be a seasonal rare, which means it will come back next year with a totally different gear, depending on the 2 teams playing next Superbowl.

Where can i get those items from?
As stated above, go to Punt (/join Punt) where you'll see a "Shop" button in the scoreboard, click it and grab whatever you can!
Punt also features the Punt-Twilly Minigame, where the player punts Twilly the red moglin as far as he can! The highest yards Twilly reaches will be displayed in the scoreboard with the player name who made it above it.
There's also an achievement placed in your character page if you can punt Twilly for 100 Yards.

New improvements for the website is rolling!

Hi again, it's me Khryist!
Just wanted to let you guys know that i'm doing some improvements to the website, that includes a new design, or functional improvements!
I'll give you some of the things that you might notice right now:

- The Loading page, now whenever you switch pages through the website, a loading page appears, which also loads the next page faster! you might have probably noticed that by the time you viewed this post of opened the page.

- The image zoom effect, This will occur in some images that will be posted in the website at the future! this will simply zoom in the page when you roll over it with your mouse! and move the zoom area with your mouse!

Here's an example, roll over the image below and see the magic :P

- Improvements on the comment system, still working on this one, i'll be adding smiles, replies and author comments, those are coming very soon!

UPDATE: The new comment system is now live and ready to be used, all the comments on the previouse system were imported to the new one.

The new system has alot of new features, such as the comment replying, and being able to login with a social network account or as a guest, and alot more features. You can try it below :P

- Chat system upgrade, working on it, new system will be much easier and has way more features than the old one! stay tuned.

UPDATE: Chat is now also alive! it was replaced from Chatango to Xat! a much better and easier chat service.

For everyone who was having trouble with loading page, or website running slowly, the website now should be working like a charm and no longer slow. and loading screen issue has been solved :D

And so much other stuff in the list, keep checking this page for everything new! post your comments for any ideas, suggestions or bugs you might face!
